The last time I did some perusing for a great web resource, I stumbled upon ExpressionEngine. I’ve been doing some digging the past few weeks and after some tutorials and toying around I think I found my next love: Ruby on Rails.
I’ve heard a great deal about RoR, but haven’t had the chance to dabble with it. After building a quick web app (in less than 20 minutes, thanks to the framework) it has incredible potential.
Querying is dead-simple with Active Record and creating helper functions is a cinch. RoR goes far out of its way to make your job easier.
Unfortunately I don’t have much to say about it yet, but I’m excited to see how far RoR can be pushed. With its track record, I don’t think that’s going to be a problem.
