My Sublime Text 2 Config

Posted on February 7, 2013

I’ve grown fond of using Sublime Text for my code editing because it’s lightweight, yet powerful. Sublime Text relies on a single file that sets user-based preferences like font size, caret style, and much more.

Most of the time I am developing ExpressionEngine, HTML, Sass, and jQuery. This config suits me for all four syntaxes.

Here’s my current setup:

{
  "caret_style": "smooth",
  "close_windows_when_empty": true,
  "color_scheme": "Packages/User/Espresso Soda.tmTheme",
  "fade_fold_buttons": false,
  "file_exclude_patterns":
  [
    ".DS_Store"
  ],
  "folder_exclude_patterns":
  [
    ".sass-cache",
    "coverage",
    "log",
    "tmp"
  ],
  "font_options":
  [
    "subpixel_antialias"
  ],
  "font_size": 16.0,
  "highlight_line": true,
  "highlight_modified_tabs": true,
  "ignored_packages":
  [
    "Vintage"
  ],
  "open_files_in_new_window": false,
  "tab_size": 2,
  "theme": "Soda Light.sublime-theme",
  "trim_automatic_white_space": true,
  "trim_trailing_white_space_on_save": true,
  "word_wrap": true
}
